Advice I Wish I'd taken - Charlotte's Secrets

N/A

By Charlotte Dawson

An honest look at some of the issues confronting young women today. Charlotte Dawson, all-round media goddess, has led a life crammed with glamorous highs and terrible lows, all lived through the pages of the popular press; intensely private details of her celebrity marriage break-up filled Australian papers and magazines for weeks. These experiences have given Charlotte a savvy wisdom that she shares as she talks candidly about careers, dating, fashion, sex, plastic surgery and that terrible demon of the 21st century - depression.

Funny and insightful, Charlotte's Secrets is crammed full of advice Charlotte wishes she had taken herself.

Charlotte Dawson left New Zealand at the tender age of 16 to embark on an international modelling career, which lasted a decade. After a period as a model agent, she moved into broadcasting, landing work on several Australian television shows. As well as her role as Fashion and Beauty Director at Australian Woman's Day magazine, she contributed articles to magazines as a freelance writer, and branched out into acting in Girls' Night Out and The Vagina Monologues in 2000. Charlotte returned to her native New Zealand in 2002 to host the TV One show, How's Life?. She also has a weekly column in New Zealand Woman's Day magazine, and is in demand as an MC and host. Charlotte's Secrets is her first book.

Paperback, 2003, 247pages, excellent new condition
