Charlotte Dawson left New Zealand at the tender age of 16 to embark on an international modelling career, which lasted a decade. After a period as a model agent, she moved into broadcasting, landing work on several Australian television shows. As well as her role as Fashion and Beauty Director at Australian Woman's Day magazine, she contributed articles to magazines as a freelance writer, and branched out into acting in Girls' Night Out and The Vagina Monologues in 2000. Charlotte returned to her native New Zealand in 2002 to host the TV One show, How's Life?. She also has a weekly column in New Zealand Woman's Day magazine, and is in demand as an MC and host. Charlotte's Secrets is her first book.
