Tricia Guild's approach to life in the city is about much more than mere decorating - it is part of the general shift in attitudes that is affecting us all as we edge towards the end of the century. The mood in interior design is evolving into something softer, more soulful and individual than we have seen in recent years. Tricia Guild reveals, through her visits to her own house and to a variety of other city homes she has decorated or helped to inspire, how her new vision of modern urban living can be adapted to very different spaces, from a family town house to a tiny artisan's cottage, a New York brownstone apartment to a Parisian pied-a-terre, a couple of small, converted studios to the skyline sanctuary of a brand new London loft.
